Random Thoughts and Whatnot

I've got about 40 minutes until Heroes is on, so I'm just gonna kinda ramble for a bit here just so I can say that I blogged and not star slacking any more than I already have been. So, let's see... Oh right, I've been working over at listverse.com for those of you who might be interested. It's so incredibly cool getting to park my kiester in front of my computer and come up with Top Whatever lists for hours a day! Seriously, this opportunity just kinda landed in my lap and fortunately I was able to grab hold with both hands and actually end up doing a really good job. Thanksgiving is Thursday and I'm cooking 1/2 of the meal and my mother-in-law is preparing the other half. I chose the bird because I love to brine the thing and just emblazon that fat bastard in flavorific goodness. Also I'm doing cranberry stuffing and a killer sweet potato casserole that has every potential to cause severe coronary aggravation. We're going over there and I have all intents of gorging myself stupid and watching football with my hand fully ensconced in my drawers. So, what else... oh, today was the first time in a few months that I actually communicated with my dad, and it was really cool and it looks like things are back on the right track in that arena. Charlie is on some interesting new ADHD meds and I can really tell when they hit for the day and also when they start to wear off at the evening. He's almost like an entirely different person which is fine but it is really odd and I'm just going to have to get used to it since it is really good for him for school. But it's still so weird to see my big boy acting like a much clearer-headed person. I do sincerely hope it's helping him a lot in school. All else is hunky-dory here at the Miller Collective and everyone else is doing well... let's see, my Red Wings are in an all-over first place in the NHL right now, although they have lost 3 in a row, 2 of which were to the fucking Blackhawks whom they can't seem to beat.
